Get Involved

Choose a volunteer job that works for your schedule, and email electKaySmithBlum@gmail.com:

1. Be a part of our web campaign – we need folks to help us “listen” to the community by watching local blogs and emailing supporters. Minimum 1 – 2 hours per week.

2. Be a neighborhood KSB supporter – talk to your neighbors up and down your block and along your alley. Distribute our KSB biz cards to all during July. Minimum 1 – 2 hours maximum.

3. Host a KSB forum in your home or office – our campaign will cover the costs of food and drink, if you can bring together 20 or more folks to listen to our message. This is a one-time commitment – first round of meetings need to occur before August 1, 2009.

4. Locate more partner organizations – email us with your list of non-profits that are doing good work with children both in the Central Area and beyond. Help us create a list of resources for our schools.

5. Canvas your local biz owners – we need your help identifying business owners in the Central Area that will “adopt a school” and partner in our students’ educational experience on many levels.
